A renowned chamber group will host a classical music session in Calne.
The Ferdinand Piano Trio will hold the performance at the Marden House Centre on December 7, comprising esteemed soloists and chamber musicians - violinist Florence Cooke, cellist Christoph Richter, and pianist Nicola Eimer.
Known as one of Britain's foremost chamber ensembles, the trio boasts international solo careers.
Together, the trio will captivate their audience with renditions of compositions by Schumann, Henze, and Mendelssohn.
Describing their backgrounds, organisers said: "Florence is internationally recognised as a chamber musician and soloist.
"Christoph performs as soloist and chamber musician throughout the world, with invitations from musicians such as András Schiff, Miriam Fried and Isabelle Faust, and festivals including the Salzburg Festival and Marlboro Festival in the US.
"Nicola is a graduate of the Juilliard School and has performed as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe, America and Asia."
