WILLIAMSTOWN -- The the Western Massachusetts Track and Field championships being held in the Berkshires for the first time in at least a good long while, there was a level of pride in the proceedings that went behind the literal host Mount Greylock Mounties.
"That was awesome," said Lenox's Elyssa Scrimo after collecting her first-place medal for winning the 800-meter title in a head-to-head battle against Monument Mountain's Rae Geddes.
