WORCESTERSHIRE has many beautiful pubs from idyllic riverside spots ideal in summer to hidden gems tucked away down winding country lanes and in small villages.
Not everyone is going to agree with the list but Tripadvisor at least provides a talking point about the best pubs in terms of ales, food or simply the atmosphere or the friendliness of staff.
It may surprise readers to learn that only one pub in Worcester makes it into the top five.
However, city pubs are still well represented in the larger, top 20 list including Cosy Club (number 6) and the Firefly ranked 7th, the Botanist (9th), King Charles House (19th) and Bottles Wine Bar (20)

The Talbot is described as a traditional ale house with Craddocks ales and guests, known for its traditional pub food and pie and mash menu.
