Jasmine Olivares had to wonder if her shot was ever going to come down.
Olivares and her Nocona Lady Indians were locked in the waning seconds of the second overtime with visiting Bridgeport Saturday afternoon. The Sissies led 40-38 with less than seven seconds left when Cervantes let a shot go from the left corner.
The high arcing attempt did eventually land where it was supposed to with just under four ticks left, giving Bridgeport no time to respond and allowing Nocona a thrilling 41-40 win over the visitors. Nocona is now 5-3 on the season.
