The Tribal Chief seems to have payback on his mind as the Road to WrestleMania stretches overseas. On Thursday, WWE announced that Roman Reigns will appear live on SmackDown in Bologna, Italy, on March 21 and in London, England, on March 28. From the sound of it, there will be hell to pay.
"Greatness is coming to Bologna and London," Reigns wrote on X. "Your Tribal Chief has business to attend to. Receipts are coming."
News of Reigns' European excursion comes a day after WWE revealed that CM Punk would also be at the SmackDown tapings in Bologna and London. When he was last seen, Reigns was thrashed by Punk and his former Shield partner, Seth Rollins.
During the men's Royal Rumble match, Punk eliminated Reigns, leading to an argument. Rollins then attacked Reigns with two curb stomps, including one on the steel ring steps. Two nights later, on Raw, Michael Cole announced Reigns would be out for "the foreseeable future." The details of Reigns' storyline injury were not disclosed.
After the Royal Rumble, PW Insider reported that WWE's plan for WrestleMania is a triple-threat match featuring Reigns, Rollins, and Punk. Since then, Punk and Rollins each qualified for the men's Elimination Chamber match, taking place this Saturday in Toronto. The winner of said contest will earn a WrestleMania title match against the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes.
But based on Reigns' social media comments, Rollins and Punk's 'Mania hopes could be in serious trouble should the Tribal Chief make an unexpected but much-welcome visit to Canada this weekend.
