Authorities in Rhode Island are searching for a 48-year-old woman who has been missing since January.
Jennifer Warren, of Bristol, was last seen by her neighbors about three weeks ago, the Bristol Police Department said in a Facebook post.
Warren, who has a history of mental health issues but is described as non-violent and is not known to carry weapons, has not been in touch with family members or friends, according to police.
Authorities determined that her cellphone had been turned off. According to NBC affiliate WJAR-TV, her pets had been found dead inside her home.
Police told CBS affiliate WPRI-TV that her last confirmed location was on Dec. 24, when she was released from Newport Hospital.
Brian Medeiros, a longtime friend, told WJAR that he last spoke with her around the holidays.
"We just kind of kept it short and made sure she was all right because I always said I would be here no matter what," Medeiros said. "She was going through some downs right now, but hopefully she could get help and figure out what's going on."
Friends told authorities that Warren had made plans to move to New York, but investigators have not confirmed her exact location, police said.

"She's always a very outgoing person and always made you laugh," Medeiros said. "Jenn, if you see this, please call me. Call anyone. Let us know that you're okay at least."
