2025's Most Anticipated Horror Sequel Is Finally Streaming

This article covers a developing story. Continue to check back with us as we will be adding more information as it becomes available.

After scaring the bejeezus out of us this summer, one of the best horror movies of the year, the long-awaited sequel 28 Years Later has finally arrived on streaming. Nearly three decades after Danny Boyle and Alex Garland introduced the Rage Virus in 28 Days Later, the terrifying saga has returned to British soil with a new nightmare, and some blonde ninjas in tracksuits -- and now, Netflix subscribers can finally experience it from home.

The film is the third entry in the series, picking up almost thirty years after the original outbreak left Great Britain quarantined and ruined. While 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later could be viewed as anthology-style installments with separate casts and stories, 28 Years Later changes the narrative as, not only does it establish a fresh group of survivors led by Jodie Comer's Isla, Ralph Fiennes' Dr. Kelson, and breakout star Alfie Williams as Spike, but it ends on a cliffhanger for next year's The Bone Temple.
