A Change.org petitioner called them "a large part of my childhood until Burger King chicken-stripped them away."
A sweet and spiced breakfast treat is coming back to Burger King -- and you'll be able to get it any time of day.
On Aug. 27, Burger King announced on Instagram that its highly-requested, once-discontinued sweet teat -- Cini Minis -- have made a nationwide return to menus for a limited time.
(The company said it was going to announce it on Aug. 26 but decided to hold off for a couple days after a certain couple got engaged.)
The treat was first introduced in 1998 and last available nationwide in 2012. In November 2024, it returned for a limited time in select Florida markets. That test run must've gone well because they've arrived in the rest of the country.
Priced at $2.99, Cini Minis are bite-sized cinnamon rolls served with icing for dipping. This go-round, Cini Minis aren't just available during breakfast -- they're around all day long for your post-work sweet treat needs or late-night snack cravings.
Burger King says customers can also grab Cini Minis as part of its $5 Duo and $7 Trio bundles.
Social media users have been begging for the return of Cini Minis for some time now. In fact, a 2016 Change.org petition called "Demand Burger King bring back Cini-Minis" has gathered 6,717 signatures to date.
"Cini-Minis were a large part of my childhood until Burger King chicken-stripped them away from me," petitioner Brett Pickett wrote. "I demand they bring Cini-Minis back so I can once again enjoy the sweet miniature cinnamon rolls of goodness."
Well, Pickett, your wish is the King's command ... though only while supplies last.
