Live updates: Auburn football takes on Oklahoma in SEC opener

Auburn football is in Norman to take on Oklahoma in its SEC opener and starting quarterback Jackson Arnold's reunion with his former team.

Follow along below for highlights, key moments and live updates from the game.

Scheduled kickoff time: 2:45 p.m. CT

Auburn comes into the game looking to win its conference opener for the first time since 2022. A victory would also be the Tigers first ranked win on the road since 2021.

It's also Arnold's first return to Norman since transferring from Oklahoma to Auburn in December. Despite the return, Arnold and those close to him have insisted that he is solely focused on getting a win to open conference play and there's no revenge factor at play.

Injury wise, Auburn's Amaris Williams and Jay Crawford are both listed as game time decisions on the final official availability report before kickoff. Crawford, one of Auburn's starting corners, is expected to dress, but not play many snaps, head coach Hugh Freeze told reporters on Thursday.

For Oklahoma, the most notable loss is defensive lineman R Mason Thomas, who is suspended for the first half after he was ejected for targeting in the Sooners' win over Temple last week. Defensive back Jeremiah Newcombe and offensive lineman Troy Everett, Jacob Sexton and Jake Taylor are out for the game, according to the SEC availability report.
