EE has beaten Sky with a cheaper TV package that's fallen to a record low price. As part of an extended Black Friday sale, the brand is currently offering its Entertainment TV bundle for £13 per month.
This deal comes with up to 150 channels - including Sky Originals on Sky Atlantic, Sky Max and Sky Kids - plus a free Netflix subscription. While Black Friday may have been and gone for another year, EE has confirmed its sale is running until Thursday, December 11.
EE's Entertainment bundle usually costs £20 per month, with the latest price cut saving customers £168 over the 24-month term. At £13, EE says the package is at its 'lowest ever price', beating Sky's Essential TV bundle in both cost and benefits.
That's because Sky's deal provides around 100 channels, with free Netflix and Discovery+, for a pricier £15 per month. However, one caveat to EE's TV deal is that it must be paired with a broadband package, which sees the total monthly price rise to £39.99 for the entry-level 74Mbps option.
This makes Virgin Media another option worth considering for those in a Virgin-serviced area, as the brand's £36.99 Entertainment bundle is free for three months until December 10. Although slightly cheaper than EE, Virgin's package comes with more bang for one's buck, with more than 200 channels, free Netflix and 362Mbps fibre broadband.
But EE has a new offer for sports fans too, which sees its Sport bundle reduced to £2 for six months when taken alongside a fibre broadband plan. This option includes hundreds of football matches across the Champions League, Europa League and Premier League on four TNT Sports channels, as well as boxing, UFC, rugby and more.
For those sticking with the £13 Entertainment bundle, remember that EE, like most TV and broadband providers, increases its prices each year. This means customers on this package will see their bills rise to £45.99 from March 31 2026, and £51.99 from March 31 2027.
Despite this, EE has garnered some positive reviews from customers on Trustpilot, with one saying: "I changed from Sky to EE for my mobile and TV package. The process was simple and the operator made the whole experience worth writing this review."
Another said: "Had my phone with them for two years and now got broadband and TV with them. I'm very happy indeed."
This customer deducted a star from their review due to 'confusion' during set-up: "Switched to EE broadband and TV due to poor experience with Virgin. Installation professional but some confusion on set-up of boxes but resolved by helpful customer services team member. WiFi is much stronger than Virgin's service."
While this five-star review says: "I have mobile, broadband and EE TV. In these days of poor customer service generally, EE stands out as having a very customer-focused approach. Their staff are helpful, knowledgeable and very nice to speak to."
