La Fontana Care Home is a purpose-built care home featuring the latest in care home technology, with a passionate and dedicated team who provide support and care for those requiring Residential, Specialist Dementia, Nursing, Palliative and Respite Care for up to 76 residents.

Our garden areas have been designed with residents in mind, encouraging a connection with the outdoors for all and plentiful spaces to relax quietly or socialise in. From sensory rich, secure gardens to intuitive layouts and calming communal areas, every space supports independence and safety. Raised beds and greenhouses ensure that gardening is a continuing pleasure for our green-fingered residents - or they can simply enjoy the results!

Our holistic approach to care incorporates residents' overall wellbeing and includes the nutritional care we offer with our own in-house chefs providing for dietary requirements. Any specific needs are catered for so the pleasure of good food and community can be enjoyed by everyone.

Every meal at La Fontana is freshly prepared using seasonal ingredients ensuring the menu is nourishing and varied. Residents are offered a choice of dishes at each meal from hearty favourites to lighter options - our approach to food and dining has as much emphasis on enjoyment as it does on nutrition.
Our Activities Programme is second to none, with residents encouraged to continue much-loved hobbies, and to begin new ones! Our dedicated Activities Co-ordinator works closely with residents to ensure everyone has the chance to do more of what they love, while discovering new experiences along the way. We have many themed celebrations and regular performances from visiting entertainers, and we have a dedicated minibus so residents can enjoy outings to local places for interest and day trips - ensuring each day is different. Our activities are all about creating joy, nurturing friendships, and helping residents feel a true sense of purpose each day.
