For the second year in a row, Capcom brought in fan artists from all over the world for their Challenger Screen Illustration Contest in Street Fighter 6, and they're about to come to the game.
Capcom has now released a new video showcasing the winning artworks and revealed they'll be available in tonight's big update.
The winners were previously revealed earlier this Summer, but now we can see what they all look like in motion.
There was some controversy in this competition, however, when one of the submissions was accused of using AI artwork for Kimberly, leading to their disqualification and replacement with a new piece from Capcom themselves.
Capcom is releasing this collection of fan artworks free for all players to use, which will become available once tonight's Street Fighter 6 server maintenance is complete.
This art contest featured characters through the end of the second DLC pass, so it goes up to Elena but does not include Year 3 characters like Sagat.
C. Viper is of course the main attraction of the new update that's about to hit SF6, but there's plenty more coming to the game too.
A new Outfit 4 DLC is coming for Mech Zangief-F alongside a special guest track from metal supergroup Cavalera Conspiracy for the Russian wrestler.
For the spooky season, Capcom is also adding an interesting Banshee's Last Cry collaboration too.
You can check out the new video below for the challenger screens as well as check out the original winners in the gallery (including the removed Kimberly piece).
