The Swedish pop star's first single in more than seven years, and the UK producer's first re-work in three

The reworking marks a return to collaboration for the pair, who previously linked p on 'Life', one of the biggest tunes from Jamie xx's 2024 album, 'In Waves'.
Opening with a minimalist mood, the original electronic pop of 'Dopamine' is reworked as a hypnotic dancefloor workout rooted in bass and breaks."I had a blast making this remix, the original song is so great it was mega fun to get to play around with it. Thanks Robyn," said Jamie xx of his first remix in three years. "Looking forward to playing it on some dancefloors very soon."
'Dopamine' landed in early November via Young and is Robyn's first single in more than seven years. The production features one of the Swedish artist's longtime collaborators, Klas Åhlund, and was developed over the course of a decade. A full album is set to follow. Ahead of that, Robyn will perform a one-off New Year's Eve show at Brooklyn Paramount, following an intimate date at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles last month.
