Ever since The Summer I Turned Pretty first debuted, fans have been low-key obsessed with figure out who star Lola Tung is dating IRL. There was that TikTok with Noah Beck that had everyone shook, then that Instagram with Otis Pavlovic from Royel Otis that caused a panic...and now, fans are convinced that Lola is dating Garrett Wareing from Ransom Canyon -- who, btw, kiiiiinda looks like Conrad Fisher, no?
So...where did these Lola and Garrett dating rumors start? The two first crossed paths while filming a new romantic comedy set in Texas from director Josephine Decker (tentatively called Summer 2001), which reportedly wrapped in August. Soon after, Lola posted this Fujifilm Instax spon post on Instagram, which included -- among other pics -- not one, not two, but three slides dedicated to pics of Garrett. Please see for yourself:
Of course, fans inevitably slid into the comments section to ask about their relationship status...and to note Garrett's TSITP lookalike. "Who is that cutie that looks so similar to Connie baby?" one fan asked, while another wrote, "That's Conrad in a different font."
Cut to September, when Garrett gave an interview with Bustle and gushed about his maybe-more-than-friend, saying, "Lola's at a different level than I am, obviously, and to be able to chat with her and someone like Lizzy Greene and Cooper Hoffman about what it means to be the leading actor, and to lead with that kind of sense of grace. It's nice to see them walk that walk, and to learn from them by example."
Most recently, in October, Garrett shared this very coupley-looking pic of himself and Lola to his IG Story, setting off a new round of dating rumors:
