WWE's LFG competition is getting intense, and the latest preview for the February 23 episode shows tensions reaching a boiling point. Shiloh Hill and Troy Yearwood nearly came to blows in a heated confrontation that ended with Shiloh shoving Troy, and The Undertaker himself weighed in on the moment.
The preview clip released by WWE captures the raw energy between the two competitors as they faced off. Troy didn't back down from Shiloh's aggressive demeanor. "Shiloh has his big crazy eyes he likes to put on to maybe shake some people up, but I smiled in his face and showed him that I fear no man -- especially not Shiloh Hill," he said confidently.
Shiloh fired right back, explaining why the tension escalated so quickly. "Anytime you face off with someone and you're that close, there's like automatic tension there. And The Undertaker told me he wanted me to be a heel and to show more intensity and more aggression, so I definitely felt that," he revealed.
Even The Undertaker chimed in on the fiery moment, showing his approval of the competitive energy. "That was all legit. That's just them getting themselves worked up. Love it, and invest in what we're doing," he said.
While LFG has already faced criticism for not being a real competition -- since all 16 contestants are reportedly already signed to NXT -- this kind of drama might be exactly what WWE wants. Whether or not the contracts are on the line, the show is delivering the kind of intensity fans expect from pro wrestling.
