Merab Dvalishvili faces a familiar challenger for his Bantamweight title on Saturday as he takes on Petr Yan in a much-anticipated rematch in Las Vegas at UFC 323.
The two fighters last met on a Fight Night card back in March 2023, with Dvalishvili coming out on top in that encounter by unanimous decision thanks to a dominant wrestling performance.
Georgian star Dvalishvili went on to claim the Bantamweight belt from Sean O'Malley at UFC 306 last September, and followed up that triumph with successful title defenses in 2025 against Cory Sandhagen and Umar Nurmagomedov that were sandwiched between a rematch victory over O'Malley.
Yan has also had a productive spell since his first meeting with Dvalishvili, bouncing back with three consecutive wins. His most recent triumph was a unanimous points victory over Marcus McGhee in Abu Dhabi, back in July.
Saturday's bill also features a flyweight title clash with Brazil's Alexandre Pantoja looking to defend his flyweight belt for a fifth time in 2025, with Burmese-American prospect Joshua Van as his dangerous-looking opponent on Saturday.
