A North East geothermal heating contractor is seeking more staff after business boomed.
Hammer Contracting Ltd, based in Morpeth and founded in 2018, has established itself as a 'trusted name' in geothermal heating array installation and groundworks.
The company has grown from £50,000 in billings in 2024 to securing more than £1 million in contracted work.
The firm says it has built a reputation as the UK's leading fusion welding provider in the renewable energy sector, laying thousands of miles of pipe with a flawless record of zero leaks.
With a specialist team of 12 - nine of whom are from the North East - the company delivers projects across England, Wales, and Scotland.
The directors are now focusing on further growth through new collaborations and workforce expansion.
The team includes seven ground operatives from the North East, including father-and-son duo Stu and Josh Anderson.
Eighteen-year-old Josh is set to begin a site management apprenticeship with the company.
The company's success is underpinned by a strong pipeline of future projects, ensuring stability and long-term growth.
Nicknamed "the trio from down under," the directors bring backgrounds as a professional boxer, an ultra runner, and an elite cyclist -- experience that shapes the company's high-performance culture.
That ethos, they said, drives their focus on precision, hard work, and a constant push for excellence.
