Lloyds Engineering shares jump over 2% after signing MoU with FlyFocus - Business Upturn

Lloyds Engineering Works Limited (LEWL) shares rose over 2% on Thursday after the company announced that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with FlyFocus Sp. z o.o., a Warsaw-based specialist in unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and avionics systems.

Under this partnership, both companies will jointly design and manufacture the Defender SIGINT UAV, a next-generation platform for signals intelligence (SIGINT) and electronic surveillance applications.

FlyFocus, headquartered in Warsaw, Poland, is one of Europe's leading developers of unmanned aerial systems (UAS), avionics, and SIGINT payloads. The company's modular UAV architectures and electronic intelligence solutions are deployed across major European defence programs and are known for their reliability, scalability, and mission versatility.

The Defender UAV will be developed exclusively with Lloyds Engineering for India's defence and security sector. The collaboration ensures complete localisation, technology transfer, and indigenous production -- aligning with the Government of India's 'Make in India' and 'Atmanirbhar Bharat' initiatives.
