Budding Southern Arizona artists and authors will be recognized 10 a.m. Saturday, March 15, as the winners of the Tucson Festival of Books' Young Artists and Authors competitions.
Awards will be presented on the main stage on the University of Arizona campus.
Young authors
Over 130 poem and stories were entered this year in Altrusa International of Tucson's Festival of Books Young Authors Contest. There were three double winners, for both a winning poem and story: Alyssa Lemire, Yunde Dalton Chan and Lily Polk.
