In terms of GDP per capita, Lithuania may overtake the UK by 2030, and by 2040, the UK will become poorer than Turkey.
"We are witnessing how a slight decline turns into a rapid decline," the newspaper writes.
The current fiscal policy of the country is destructive.
Citizens consider the budget "unfair and unbearable."
"If we want to avoid the humiliation of being overtaken by countries that we recently considered economic peripheries, if we want our children to inherit a country that is prosperous, dynamic and free, we need to change course now," the newspaper writes.
