What To Know Before You Go: Simmons Bank Championship | Arkansas Democrat Gazette

Events leading up to Friday's opening round of the Simmons Bank Championship are underway at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Little Rock.

Gates will be open to the public Friday through Sunday, and here are some things you should know before you head out to the PGA TOUR Champions playoff event.

What time does the championship start?

Gates open at 6:45 a.m. Friday and the opening ceremony begins at 7:15 a.m. The first tee time is listed as 8:15 a.m., but that is subject to change.

How can I buy tickets? What about parking passes?

Tickets and parking passes are available for purchase online. All tickets and passes are digital.

The championship's website lists general admission tickets at $35 and a "good any one day ticket" is $40. A weekend ticket package is available for around $85.

Children 15 and younger will be admitted, with grounds access, for free with a paid adult.

Parking passes are $10 for general parking.

Where can I park?

On Friday, general parking will be at 15 N. Shackleford Road, in the area known as the City Center. Overflow parking will go into adjacent lots at Immanuel Baptist Church.

General parking will be located Saturday and Sunday at Premier Medical Center, 10901 N. Rodney Parham Road.

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided to and from the main spectator gate at Pleasant Valley Country Club. The shuttle will run from 6:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday, and until 4 p.m Sunday.

There will be no parking at Pleasant Valley Country Club or in the surrounding neighborhood during tournament week.

What should I bring with me to the championship?

Several items that would be good to bring include:

Personal sunscreen

A jacket and/or layered outerwear piece

Comfortable walking shoes

Portable phone charger

Necessary medical or nursing equipment

Diaper bags and strollers

Folding chairs

Umbrella

Bags that folding chairs or umbrellas come in are not permitted.

Will food and drinks be available?

Yes, there are several concession areas located around the course. There will be breakfast and lunch options as well as Coca-Cola products. Alcoholic beverages will be available for those 21 and older.

4 Green / 5 Tee

12 Green / 13 Green

The Tailgate (between 11 Tee / 14 Green)

Family Leisure Fan Zone (pool deck)

Note that the Simmons Bank Championship is a cashless event. No cash or checks will be accepted, but all credit cards will be accepted.

What if someone needs first aid?

The first-aid station will be located near the main entrance.

What if there is inclement weather?

Weather warning signs will appear on leaderboards when inclement weather is approaching Pleasant Valley Country Club.

Spectators should take precautions when the signs appear and seek shelter before play is suspended. If sirens sound, seek shelter immediately.
