Tehachapi Christmas Parade applications are ready and will be accepted through Nov. 24 in advance of the Dec. 6 event.
"With the cold chill in the air, we are starting to gear up for a very fun holiday season," a news release from the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce says.
All floats must be less than 13 feet tall.
"The city of Tehachapi recently installed beautiful string lights on F Street," the release says. "All floats must be able to pass underneath the lights without incident."
This year's theme is Gingerbread Lane.
Applications can be found online and sent to [email protected], mailed to PO Box 401 Tehachapi, CA 93581, or brought to the chamber at 209 E. Tehachapi Blvd.
"We look forward to working with you at this year's parade," the release says.
The release says there will be a mandatory safety meeting before the parade, with more details to be shared with parade registrants.
