Sonja J. Kalloch
HALLOWELL - Sonja J. Kalloch, 54, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 4, 2025 unexpectedly.
Sonja was born in Bath on Oct. 7, 1970. She was the daughter of the late William I. Peterson, Jr. and Jane E. Peterson.
Sonja resided in the Hallowell/Farmingdale area for the past 35 years. She graduated from Maranacook High School in 1988. She also attended Winthrop High School.
Sonja loved Veterans and proudly worked for the Veteran's Administration as an IT specialist for the past 14 years and previously worked for Brunswick Naval Air for 21 years.
Sonja is survived by her spouse, Keith Kalloch of Farmingdale; sons Adam Kalloch and Tyler Kalloch of Farmingdale; and her grandson, Trever Kalloch of Farmingdale. Sonja is also survived by her mother, Jane Peterson of Randolph; brother, Bill Peterson and his wife Patricia of Florida, brother, Michael Peterson and his wife Dawn of Maine, sister, Karen Charest and her spouse Michael of Maine; as well as many nieces, nephews; aunts and uncles.
Sonja was predeceased by her father, William I. Peterson, Jr.; her nephew, Ben Peterson; and her brother, Kurt Peterson of Guam.
A celebration of life will be held on March 8, at the Le Club Calumet, 334 W River Rd., Augusta from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
