An 88-year-old woman has died, one week after she was injured in a Hueytown crash.
The Jefferson County Coroner's Office identified the victim as Ann Ballard Wesson. She lived in Hueytown.
The wreck happened at 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, on Allison-Bonnett Memorial Drive at Mahone Avenue.
Chief Deputy Coroner Bill yates said Wesson was a passenger in a vehicle that was involved in a multi-car crash. Additional details weren't released.
Wesson was taken to UAB Hospital was she was pronounced dead at 2:05 a.m. today.
Hueytown police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the wreck.
