CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - The risk for severe weather has ended across Northeast Ohio.
Today will be mostly cloudy, windy, and cooler as a cold front crosses.
Temperatures climb to the upper 60s around midday then drop throughout the afternoon, finishing in the upper 50s at sunset.
Winds will be out of the southwest initially, turning more westerly this afternoon, between 15 and 25 mph.
Occasional gusts in the 35 to 40 mph range are expected.
Though much of the day stays dry, isolated showers are expected to develop later this morning into the afternoon as the front crosses.
Tonight becomes partly cloudy as the breeze remains elevated.
Dry conditions are expected throughout the day, but it remains breezy with a west wind turning northwest between 10 and 20 mph.
High temperatures only rise to the low 60s.
Monday sees a mostly sunny sky, but a north wind keeps temperatures in the upper 50s during the afternoon.
Tuesday starts dry, then a few showers arrive during the afternoon.
Another cool day is in store with high temperatures staying in the upper 50s.
In fact, the rest of the week will have temperatures well below normal for late May.
High temperatures continue to hover in the 50s Wednesday through Friday with continued opportunities for showers.
