A new Domino's pizza takeaway could soon be opening in South Bristol. Plans have been submitted for a new takeaway by the chain at Imperial Retail Park.
The pizza chain has applied for planning permission to put new signs up on an empty unit at the shopping centre, where Papa John's used to be, a rival pizza takeaway.
Other businesses at the retail park in South Bristol include Argos, B&Q, Boots and Sports Direct, among others.

There is another Domino's in the nearby Hengrove Leisure Park, although it's unclear whether this one will stay open.
Hengrove Leisure Park used to be home to a cinema and a bingo hall, but in recent years has become deserted, apart from a couple of fast food restaurants, a small Premier Inn, and a giant empty car park often used by learner drivers.
There are plans to redevelop Hengrove Leisure Park into a new housing complex of 350 new homes.
The plans were revealed in 2020 and approved in 2021, meaning that the empty buildings which hold memories for generations of Bristolians will soon be gone for good.
Dominos has 15 other takeaways in the city.
It says on its website: "Overflowing with culture, Bristol is a hub for creativity and historic beauty. Immerse yourself in the colourful streets of Stokes Croft, take in the vibrant art scene at the Arnolfini or enjoy a stroll along the Avon Gorge.
"You're probably going to be quite hungry after all that. The good news is, along with an outstanding music scene and two busy universities, you'll find 15 Domino's Pizza stores across the city!"
Other recent planning applications submitted to the council include converting the floors above a former bank into flats and opening a new children's home.
