LEWISTON, IDAHO (KLEW) -- At approximately 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Lewiston Fire units were dispatched to a reported structure fire at 1513 Alder Drive. Upon arrival, firefighters observed light smoke emanating from the structure.
After making entry, crews discovered a smoldering recliner, which was promptly removed from the residence.
One resident was transported to the hospital for minor smoke inhalation.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation, with damages estimated at less than $5,000.
