A LUXURIOUS cruise ship has arrived in Greenock for her one and only visit this year as part of a month-long tour.
Silver Spirt sailed into Inverclyde at around 6.30am today (Wednesday, September 3), bringing with her up to 608 guests and 411 crew members.
The 12-deck, 30,000-tonne ship is on a 26-day tour of Denmark, Sweden, Norway and the British Isles.
Sliver Spirit in Greenock today (Image: George Munro) In 2018, the vessel went into the dry dock for a full refurbishment which saw an additional section added to increase its passenger capacity by 68.
Onboard, passengers have eight luxury dining options, a pool and three hot tubs, a piano lounge and casino.
The ship is part of the Sliver Sea Ocean Class fleet alongside her sister vessels Silver Moon, Silver Shadow and Silver Whisper.
After departing Greenock later this evening, Sliver Spirit will head for Belfast, Cork and Fishguard in south Wales before sailing on to Falmouth and Portland and her cruise's end in Southampton.
