The National Ambulance Service (NAS) has confirmed a review will be carried out after one of their emergency vehicles was involved in a crash in Donegal on Tuesday.
Two female paramedics were injured, none seriously, following the horror smash while responding to a callout near Carndonagh at around 10am.
A NAS spokesperson told Donegal Daily that emergency services attended the scene immediately.
"A review of the incident will be carried out and managed in line with established protocols," they said.
GardaĆ confirmed no other vehicles were involved.
"Two people, two women aged in their 20s and 40s, were conveyed to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries," a spokesperson for the Garda Press Office said.
