A power outage prompted the cancellation of all outpatient appointments Wednesday at Children's Hospital Los Angeles.
According to the hospital, the power outage occurred just before 11 a.m. Wednesday at the campus at 4650 Sunset Blvd. The cause of the outage was unknown.
"Due to ongoing power issues impacting operations, all outpatient clinic appointments at the main hospital location are canceled for the rest of the day," hospital officials announced via social media early Wednesday afternoon.
"Appointments will be rescheduled. We apologize for the inconvenience."
It was unclear how many appointments and patients were impacted.
