New Location of The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill in Fort Worth - cravedfw

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill, where fans of fresh Mediterranean cuisine can be transported to Greece through the vibrant flavors of elevated traditional dishes, opened a new location at 9654 Red Dirt Road in the Shops at Chisholm Trail. The 2,200-square-foot restaurant is owned by a local family of military veterans, Cliff Bowling and his two sons, Daniel and Patrick Bowling, who also opened the restaurant's first Fort Worth location in the Crestwood-area last year.

Aligning with its mission, Live Your Life Deliciously, The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill menu features traditional dishes crafted using high-quality ingredients and family recipes that have been passed down for generations. Fan-favorites include The Great Greek Gyro, as well as lamb, steak and chicken Souvlaki plates, all prepared fresh in-house. Many selections can be customized, such as the Classic Greek Salad or Rice Bowl with a choice of gyro meat, salmon and more.

"As a family, we really enjoy interacting with the community and bringing people together over a delicious meal," said Cliff Bowling. "We're excited to expand The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill footprint throughout Fort Worth so we can introduce healthier options to locals and change the way guests see fast-casual dining."

Adding to the flavorful culinary experience are side dishes like made-to-order Feta Fries, fresh Greek salads and four signature house-made dips, including Hummus, Tzatziki, Melitzanosalata (eggplant dip) and Tirokafteri (spicy roasted red pepper). For something sweet, the restaurant prepares signature handcrafted desserts on site, including Baklava, Baklava Ice Cream and Rice Pudding.

The Bowling family welcomed the opportunity to open a second location of the restaurant saying, "The food quality, freshness, authentic menu and culture makes The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill a meaningful venture for us and our community," said Daniel Bowling.

Before running a restaurant, Cliff Bowling served over 20 years in the U.S. Air Force. His sons followed suit; Patrick Bowling served eight years in the U.S. Air Force and Daniel Bowling served 10 years in the U.S. Navy. After supporting their country, the veterans decided to provide for their hungry community, branching into the culinary space in 2012 with the opening of their first two restaurants. "Collectively, we have over 30 years of experience working in the food industry, and we're proud to use our expertise to give Fort Worth residents an easier way to make healthier dining choices on the go." said Patrick Bowling.

Guests can bring the experience to off-premises parties, events and meetings with The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill catering menu. Offerings include build-your-own Gyro kits, savory Souvlaki Skewers, a variety of side dishes, delectable desserts and more.

The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill Fort Worth-Chisholm Trail is open Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. for online and pickup orders; delivery is available through Uber Eats, DoorDash and Grubhub.
