Little Rock Police arrested one man early Saturday morning in connection to an aggravated robbery at an apartment complex on the west side of the city, according to an incident report.

Zicarion Kuron Goodloe, 19, was arrested around 7 a.m. at 11701 Mara Lynn Road.

According to the report, officers responded to the apartment complex after dispatch received a call from 22-year-old DeJwan Payne.

Payne told the officers a co-worker of his at Amazon he knows as "Kappo" had invited him over to his apartment to smoke.

When he arrived at the complex around 6:45 to 6:50 a.m., Payne said he called Kappo via Facebook Messenger to ask how to get to his apartment, unit 223, according to the report.

Kappo met him outside and escorted Payne to the apartment door, where he then forced Payne inside.

Within moments of entering the unit, Payne told the officers, four to five Black men emerged from a backroom wearing black ski masks and bearing guns, the report said.

According to the report, Payne said he was struck in the head and face with guns by Kappo and the other men. In the report, officers noted that Payne's right cheek was swollen.

Payne told the police the men stole his wallet, which contained $400 in cash and multiple debit cards.

The men then escorted him back to his car before two of them fled on foot northbound.

Payne then got in his car and drove to the front of the complex, where he called the police, the report said.

After taking Payne's report, officers went to unit 223 and knocked on the door and received no answer. Two officers left the complex while three others remained on scene for five to 10 minutes, according to the report.

During that time, the officers witnessed two Black males running eastbound through the complex toward building 6. One of them was wearing a white t-shirt, blue shorts and a multi-color backpack. The other was was wearing black jeans, a green or gray jacket and black wrap over his hair.

The duo saw the three officers near building 6 and began walking north through the complex.

According to the report, the officers weren't sure if the men were connected to the robbery until Payne drove his vehicle toward their location and told the officers they were both involved and that he had seen them exit another apartment.

Officers began driving toward the exit of the complex when both men fled north crossing Mara Lynn Road and entered a wooded area.

Aware that the woods lead to Green Mountain Condos, officers attempted to set a perimeter, the report said.

Officers located at 508 Green Mountain Cir. saw the suspect wearing the green/gray jacket and black pants in the woods.

The suspect, later identified as Goodloe, tried to run back toward Mara Lynn Road through the woods, but stopped once he realized officers lined the road.

After Goodloe was taken into custody, officers confirmed with an apartment manager that Goodloe was leasing unit 223, according to the report.

A search of the area failed to locate any other suspects.

Goodloe was charged with aggravated robbery, theft of property and fleeing, the report said.
