A person was wounded Friday in a shooting at El Sereno Park.
The call came in about 1:35 p.m. Friday at 4721 Klamath St., in the El Sereno area, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The address corresponds to the location of El Sereno Park.
Los Angeles Fire Department personnel responded and took one person to a hospital, but that individual's condition was unavailable.
The suspect was described as 20-year-old man wearing a red sweater and armed with a handgun. He fled in an unknown direction in a silver Toyota Camry, according to a police spokesman.
