Why Brittany Mahomes Is 'Excited' About 2025 NFL Season as a Mom

Brittany Mahomes has one reason that the 2025-2026 NFL season already can't be beat.

"Every year is different with my babies," Mahomes, 29, wrote via Instagram on Sunday, August 24. "I get so excited taking them to the first game and seeing how much more they understand and enjoy watching their dad play!"

She concluded, "This year is gonna be a good one."

Brittany took her eldest children, Sterling and Bronze, to watch her husband Patrick Mahomes' final preseason Kansas City Chiefs game at Arrowhead Stadium on Friday, August 22. Brittany rocked a red tank top with cutoff denim shorts, which she accessorized with oversized sunglasses, a silver choker necklace and a pair of sneakers with yellow laces.

Sterling, 4, and Bronze, 2, each wore Chiefs merch, paired with either a tutu skirt or white shorts. Sterling also wore her blonde locks in a ponytail tied with an adorable bow.

Brittany sat with her kids in a private suite after greeting Patrick, 29, on the field for a pregame kiss.

"Feels good to be back in ARROWHEADDDDDD," she captioned Instagram Story footage at the time.

Patrick has been the starting quarterback for the Chiefs since 2018, leading them to three consecutive Super Bowl appearances. The Missouri-based team's plans for a "three-peat" were thwarted in February when the Philadelphia Eagles dominated the big game.

While Patrick remains focused on football during the NFL seasons, Brittany tackles more of the duties at home.

"I think people don't even realize how much she does," Patrick said on the "Impaulsive" podcast in 2024. "I mean, taking care of the day-to-day stuff and make it where I can focus on football and focus on my craft and everything like that."

He added, "[She's] a Hall of Fame mom and a Hall of Fame wife, [which] makes it a lot easier. I mean, when you get to come home and your best friend's there and you can just hang out, it makes you want to be there all the time and she pushes me to be great and she's done a lot of great things herself."

Patrick and Brittany added to their brood in January -- weeks before the Super Bowl -- when they welcomed daughter Golden.

"It's a growing family, but [I] hope we are done growing for a little while," Patrick joked during a press conference at the time. "It's cool that I'm able to play in these big games, and the Kansas City community has brought me in to be a part of their family."
